The Mon District Men’s Football Team celebrated their victory in the 24th Dr. T. Ao Inter-District Football Championship 2025. The Mon District Administration, MDFA, and local Konyak CSOs hosted a thanksgiving event at the Local Ground, Mon on 18th August.

Deputy Commissioner Applauds Team and Supporters

Deputy Commissioner Wennyei Konyak praised the players and their supporters. He said the win was a shared achievement. He thanked the team for bringing pride to Mon District. He also urged everyone to stay motivated and work together for future success.

President of Konyak Students’ Union, Temwang Konyak, described the victory as historic. He explained that the championship final would be remembered for years.
